Replace several manual "time-sheet" systems used to report
employee assignment and man-hour information with a web-based extension
to the PeopleSoft HRIS system.
The HR Time Reporting System is an Intranet application used
by business group administrators to collect, validate, and timely
report employee assignment and man-hour information for the U.S. based
workforce. The system uses a stand-alone database during the data
collection and validation process. This ensures only validated and
complete information is uploaded and added to the PeopleSoft HRIS
database at pay-cycle close.
The software requires each administrator to enter and
validate information for all employees in their group. To validate
the file, 100% of the scheduled workweek must be accounting for
as hours worked (recorded by each assignment) and/or exception information
(maternity leave, vacations, and personnel time, etc). When all
information is validated, the administrator can [SUBMIT] the information
to HR for approval.
The "Managers Screen" allows corporate HR to
easily monitor the data collection and validation process and to
view the information in summary or detail. Upon [APPROVAL], the
file is integrated into the PeopleSoft HRIS system and a new pay-cycle
